myticket Jahrhunderthalle Frankfurt

Here diversity is the program

The myticket Jahrhunderthalle Frankfurt is one of the most tradition-rich culture centres in Europe. The best ballet ensembles, the biggest rock stars, the most emotional musicals and the funniest comedians hand over to each other here. The Kuppelsaal of the myticket Jahrhunderthalle Frankfurt is also a popular place for meetings, conferences and corporate events of all kinds.

One of Europe's biggest commercial cultural initiatives

Designed by the renowned architect Prof. Friedrich Wilhelm Kraemer, the building was inaugurated in 1963 to mark the 100th anniversary of Hoechst AG. It was dedicated to the employees and residents of the region.

From the outset, the Jahrhunderthalle was one of the biggest commercial cultural initiatives in Europe.  The cultural engagement of the company arose from the understanding that promotion of arts and culture is an important societal task.  The new operator,  Deutsche Entertainment AG (DEAG),  has continued this mission, supporting all cultural genres—from classical music and ballet to jazz, rock, and pop.

Cultural highlights and company events

The varied and attractive cultural programme attracts streams of visitors during the main season.  Additionally, the hall is highly popular in the corporate sector for hosting company events and shareholder meetings.  The myticket Jahrhunderthalle Frankfurt was awarded the Conga Award for the best congress centre in Germany and has been leading the shareholder meetings statistics in the category "halls and arenas" since 2008.

With its round domed roof and unusual architecture, the myticket Jahrhunderthalle remains a landmark visible from afar. The special and cultivated ‘Sixties flair’ of the hall with its gleaming parquet floor, the illuminated ‘starry sky’ and the heavy velvet curtains is unique in the Rhine-Main region and this sets it nicely apart from newly built venues.

The boards that mean the world

The fully glazed Kuppelsaal creates a sensation of stepping outdoors and has exceptional acoustics. With its large theatre stage, the possibility of blackout and its multifunctional room design, the Kuppelsaal offers a forum for events of all kinds. Treading the 'boards that mean the world’ have been such famous artists as Yehudi Menuhin, Jimi Hendrix, Herbert von Karajan,  Janis Joplin,  Frank Sinatra,  Maria Callas and Kraftwerk,  to name but a few.  Today’s biggest names in the music and entertainment industry continue this tradition, with performances from Coldplay, Tokio Hotel,  Katy Perry,  Lady Gaga,  and Paul Kalkbrenner.  In the Rhine-Main region, the myticket Jahrhunderthalle is a must-see for guests and artists alike.

Not retro, but original

An additional universe of versatile rooms opens up to the visitor on the ground floor, where the Kuppelsaal has pride of place.

The modern design and original details from the Charles Eames era unerringly reflect the authentic flair of the 1960s - originality that is more relevant today than ever.

The myticket Jahrhunderthalle Club, which opened in early 2017 in the former executive board restaurant,  offers a unique venue capacity among Frankfurt’s theatres. With over 400 seats and 600 standing places, the myticket Jahrhunderthalle has introduced a new event dimension for Frankfurt,  which hosts all kinds of arts and concepts along with stand-up comedians, concerts and children's theatre.

Markets and break-outs on the ground floor

The Casino is an ideal  exhibitor space for a range of trade fairs and markets, as a banqueting hall for parties, weddings and banqueting events or as a cult setting for unusual event concepts and concerts, true to the motto ‘Party where Frank Sinatra drank gin’.

The conference area of the myticket Jahrhunderthalle with its six variable conference rooms also offers an ideal venue for seminars, workshops or focussed business meetings.

Open-air meetings in a green space

Surrounded by extensive green spaces, the grounds of the hall encompass two terraces, the atrium, a water area and around 1,300 car parking spaces and are thus suitable for both indoor and outdoor events. The open-air area Sommerwiese at the myticket Jahrhunderthalle leaves nothing to be desired and offers space for a chill-out area on the lawn, by the water and under trees. Together with an open-air stage, deckchairs, parasols or beer table sets surrounded by food trucks and much more, it creates a real festival feeling.

The proximity to Frankfurt airport and the main railway station (each around 15 minutes away) form ideal infrastructure.
