Looking ahead

Sustainability goals - Where are we heading?

We regularly define milestones and review potential projects we’d like to implement.
Our current goals: By July 2026, we want to achieve further measurable progress as an event centre - environmentally, socially and structurally.
On this page, we share what we’re working on: the initiatives we’ve already launched, the ones we’re planning, and the milestones we’re striving to reach.

We are currently working on these points:

  • Create incentives for travelling by public transport
  • Reducing furniture transport by upgrading and enhancing artist dressing rooms
  • Cutting down on transport needs by investing in our own crowd barriers and entry gates
  • Further feasibility studies of CO₂ reduction in touring
  • Upgrading public area faucets with water-stop systems
  • Introduction of compostable disposable tableware in the catering sector
  • Reduction of paper consumption by promoting digital alternatives
  • Improvement of waste separation concept also in the backstage area
  • Strengthening dialogue with suppliers and service providers to foster more sustainable collaboration
  • Transparent communication and awareness-building — both internally and externally
  • Development of the awareness concept for concerts
  • Awareness training for employees
  • Expansion of accessibility before, during and after events
  • Expansion of accessibility in club car parks & club toilets
  • Cyber awareness training for employees
  • Ecological upgrading of the outdoor area
